Dedicated hosting is where we provide a web-server(s) for your exclusive use.  There are no other websites on this server except the ones you request and control.  Dedicated hosting is not the same thing as 'co-location', because we own the hardware and operating system software.  We also maintain the equipment and operating systems so you only need to be concerned with your website(s) and other web-based applications that you run. 

There are many reasons for dedicated hosting such as:

• Software Development - If you develop software then you need a dedicated web server because often during the 'debugging' of software, the web-server will malfunction because of programming code errors.  Dedicated hosting is ideal in this situation.
• High Security Needs (such as for Banks) - Even though all web-servers maintain high levels of security, some times a business will determine that they want to be isolated from other websites.  Dedicated hosting will accomplish this.
• Economical uses ( sub-hosting companies) - When you wish to offer hosting to your clients, a dedicated server can allow you to do this.
