Among diamond cutters, Marco Levy is considered one of the best in the world. So when Marco and his company determined they needed an updated website, Designed Internet Solutions was grateful to be selected for the task.
The Diamond Source wanted a sophisticated looking website that would easily allow their customers to see the wide range of highly creative gem stones they offer. Further, they wanted customers to see the wonderful range of Marco Levy''s creations using precious gems. After consultation it was determined that the Designed Internet Solutions'' website management tools would also be deployed so that The Diamond Source would be able to manage their website''s content from now on - not needing to retain a web-master except for highly sophisticated changes should they be needed in the future.
Among the website tools to be deployed on their website are Designed Internet''s sophisticated content management solutions, a dynamic news area, and a powerful presentation tool called the ''Gallery''. This system mimics some features of the Designed Internet ''e-Commerce'' system. However, because of the desire not to sell gems on-line - it will be used to present a continually changing Gallery of jewelry. The system will allow The Diamond Source to present an unlimited number of gem-creations in any manner of categories they wish.
One of the unique philosophical approaches used by Designed Internet Solutions, is that all work is performed on a fixed-fee agreement with a set production schedule.
The Graphic Design will be completed first along with a website logic diagram (to refine the navigation decisions). Once these items are approved - programming will begin. The site should be ready for launch before the New Year.
