 Data Center 1 : PerformanceAmerican Internet Services (West) San Diego, Califronia Newtork Performance Powerhouse This San Diego data center offers a mix of cabinet, cage and custom space, as well as roof rights for microwave links and other antennae systems. The facility is fed from SDG&E with 4000 amps at 480 Volts. The San Diego Data Center is home to a number of data/telecom industry tenants and is rich with fiber, with every major carrier in the area represented. Diverse fiber pathways accommodating Sonnet rings are provided by from the listed carriers. We operate a true carrier/optically neutral San Diego data center with large (2000 sq. ft) Meet Me Room and separate POP room for carriers and fiber providers. This data center is connected via redundant OC192 to our San Diego Kearny Mesa Data Center and to our colocation space at One Wilshire in Los Angeles, which gives our customers access to 260 additional fiber networks and carriers. Many San Diego colocation companies these days claim to have state of the art facilities. When our San Diego data center was built, no expense was spared. 10 million dollars was spent to build 25,000 square foot San Diego data center. An additional 5 million has been invested in network infrastructure and upgrades. It shows as well as it functions. Our San Diego data center is equal to or better than any San Diego colocation facility.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our customers, Complex Drive owns each of the facilities in the San Diego campus as well as the land on which they reside. Ownership provides great stability, control, and alleviates the concerns that plague datacenter operators that lease their facilities and make large capital investments into buildings they do not own. Complex Drive’s 5 datacenters have been accumulated over the past 10 years through a combination of new construction, retrofits, and acquisitions. This unique cluster of facilities is located in the burgeoning San Diego Spectrum business park. Within minutes of all five major San Diego freeways, this Central San Diego location makes Complex Drive one of the only major Southern California Datacenters you can reach quickly even during rush hour. As the epicenter for Fiber and Telecom carriers in the city, Complex Drive’s campus is home to 11 different Tier 1 Fiber carriers. In addition to the 5 production centers currently owned and managed by Complex Drive, Cox Communications, Level 3, Cogent, Telepacific, AT&T, and Verizon each have facilities directly within the Complex Drive campus. The Dallas INFOMART was designed to be the world's first technology market center. Construction Steel frame curtain wall construction, slab over metal deck. All 6 floors have 180,000-sf floor plates. Ceiling Height The first floor maintains a clear height in excess of 24 feet, allowing for built-in vertical expansion of switch-gear via mezzanine construction. Floors 2 through 7 have ceiling heights of 14 feet deck-to-deck, allowing 12 feet, 6 inches minimum clear height. Floor Loading Capacity The first floor supports 250 lbs/sf. Floors 2 through 7 support 75 lbs/sf. Fiber Access INFOMART Dallas is served by Allegiance Telecom, Level 3, MCI Worldcom, Brooks Fiber, Metromedia Fiber Networks, e-spire, Teleport Communications Group, NEXTLINK, Southwestern Bell, Enron and Time Warner, AT&T, UUnet. Power Hospital-grade electrical power supplied by 3 independent Texas Utility station feeds and six in-building transformer substations. Two substations feed a main plant at 4,160 volts. One station feeds each quadrant of INFOMART Dallas with 480-volt service through 4,000-AMP electric risers. There is a station located in each corner of the building, with a distribution center on each floor. Overall, INFOMART Dallas offers up to 20 W/sf of electrical power. HVAC Five 1,500-ton centrifugal chillers provide chilled water for the facility's air conditioning system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Companies with high-density or specific chilled water requirements can avoid buying their own expensive equipment by tapping into INFOMART's chilled water system. Conduit/Chase Space Electrical and fiber access is provided through four large, 360-sf riser closets. All rooms are secured through a centrally monitored card access entry point. Fiber entry occurs in each quadrant of the building, on the lower level, ensuring ample access to floors 2 through 6 with virtually unlimited access to telecom spaces on level one. Security Building security and over all integrity is provided by 24 hr roving security guards 7 days a week along with a highly sophisticated fire suppression system that operates in all sensitive areas. Elevators The building contains four panoramic passengers elevators and 2 freight elevators - one with 6,000-pound capacity, one with 4,000-pound capacity.
